Asisat Oshoala, captain of Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons, on Thursday got thousands of her fans worried after she dropped a gloomy tweet.

In the cryptic tweet, the FC Barcelona Femení striker wrote, “Life is just unfair…. tired of trying.”

Although her depressing tweet was deleted moments later, it did little to assuage the fear and panic it created.

Recall that Oshoala lost her mother last year and only recently recovered from a serious injury.
