Afrobeats star Omah Lay has boldly declared himself the greatest artist of his generation, expressing confidence in his talent and future accomplishments despite admitting he has no concrete proof at the moment.

Speaking with conviction, the singer shared his aspirations and self-belief.

“Hi guys! My name is Omah Lay and I am the greatest of my generation. I don’t have proof right now but there will be a lot in the future. Thanks, yours truly, Boy Alone,” he said.

Born Stanley Omah Didia, the Rivers State-born artist gained widespread recognition for his soulful voice and emotive Afrobeats sound.

His music frequently delves into themes such as heartbreak, love, relationships, and self-discovery, connecting deeply with a youthful audience.

Omah Lay first rose to prominence with his breakout track “Bad Influence,” which garnered significant attention and positioned him as a leading figure in the Afrobeats genre.
