Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has asked for forgiveness from his fellow artist Davido after being released from police custody.

Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, was arrested on August 22 and held at the Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja on suspicion of criminal activities.

Following his arrest, Dammy Krane accused Davido of being behind his troubles and has repeatedly defamed Davido over the death of his friend, Tagbo.

However, in a surprising twist, Dammy Krane took to Twitter to apologize, writing, “Please @davido, I’m begging. I’m on my knees🙏🏿🤍.” This apology has left fans speculating whether it’s genuine or just another dig at Davido, especially referencing a viral video of Davido on his knees begging a white lady.

Netizens quickly reacted to Dammy Krane’s tweet with mixed responses:

@rahman_jago_of_abj commented, “Oga make a video begging him the way he begged that girl for p,” suggesting that Dammy Krane should go further in his apology by making a video similar to the one Davido was seen in.

@shes__precious__ added, “Is this a shade or an apology😩 you never ready,” highlighting the confusion among fans over the sincerity of Dammy Krane’s words.

@tamunotonyetrustee remarked, “If you mumu pass 30bg them your life done spoil,” implying that if Dammy Krane continues this behavior, it could end badly for him.

@only1_badboy_richly noted, “I see wetin this guy do for there 😂 werey,” pointing out that Dammy Krane’s actions are seen as erratic or mocking.

@reallest_gee expressed, “You never learn mumu, na VDM wey make them release you pain me,” showing frustration over Dammy Krane’s repeated issues despite interventions on his behalf.

@dabrightszn observed, “This guy no be like person wen go rest for this dragging matter,” indicating that many believe Dammy Krane isn’t ready to let the matter rest.

@olamilekan_of_lagos01 suggested, “Do video make we confirm say you deh on your knees,” urging Dammy Krane to provide more proof of his sincerity.

Dammy Krane’s recent apology comes after he had earlier called for public support, blaming Davido for his arrest. Social media activist VeryDarkMan, who had previously pleaded with Davido on Dammy Krane’s behalf, has since distanced himself from the case.
