Abdullahi
Since the news hit the internet, Nigerians have been reacting to the development. While many believe the decision of the lawmakers not to confirm Magu as EFCC chairman is a witch-hunt against the anti-graft agency boss, others are of the opinion that Magu does not possess the credibility to head an agency of such status.

@Omojuwa to the @NgrSenate , Confirming Magu is like a witch accepting to be a room mate to a Mountain Of Fire prayer warrior.

Magu’s rejection: They’ll not offer their nemesis shelter. Let PMB allow him to continue acting and make them running ?.

I, as a Nigerian, have confidence in Magu as EFCC boss, except the President @MBuhari toes the line of the Senate’s questionable decision.

The refusal of the Senate to confirm Magu is, no doubt, the biggest blow on the authority of Buhari presidency so far.

Nigerian Senate overwhelmingly rejects Ibrahim Magu’s nomination as substantive chairman of EFCC. Rule of law wounds impunity yet again. ?

Glad Magu wasn’t confirmed. Hasn’t impressed me so far.

I am not at all surprised that Magu did not get the Senate’s confirmation. It’s long coming, pay back time…

I’m not surprised that the Senate rejected Magu as EFCC chairman, they surely know what he can do. 0 tolerance for nonsense
