“I’m my mother’s daughter” that was the award-winning poem that made Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex, the winner of a cash prize of N500.000 and also got her mother’s kitchen tastefully refurbished.
Alex wrote the poem to her mom to mark International Women’s Day and she sang nothing but praises for her dearest mother.
She described her mother as a flower that is as sweet as honey even when life throws her bitterness and a free but strong spirit that never accepts defeat’, those were some of the beautiful encomia she showered on her mother.
An emotional Alex couldn’t hold back tears when she was announced as the winner of the Dano Milk task which happened a few weeks ago.
In a video showed to all the housemates, Alex’s mom spoke highly of her daughter and appreciated her efforts.
The newly refurbished kitchen with all its appliances was filled with Dano Milk.
Recall that Alex also wrote a lengthy but emotional letter to Cee-C to apologise to her after they had a misunderstanding during the last Sunday’s eviction show.
