Nigerian Afrofusion singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has called out out the organisers of Coachella, an international music and arts festival for publishing his name in small fonts on its event flyer.

The singer empathetically stated that he is an “African Giant” and demanded that the organisers “fix things quickly.”

Burna Boy made this controversial statement via his Insta stories after Coachella announced on his official page that he and Mr Eazi will be part of the lineup for the 2019 Coachella Music Festival.

He wrote,

“@coachella I really appreciate you. But I don’t appreciate the way my name is written so small in your bill.

“I am an AFRICAN GIANT and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means.

“Fix things quick please.”

WuzupNaija reports that the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

It is one of the most famous, and profitable music festivals in the United States and all over the world.

Meanwhile, the post has since been deleted from his Instagram Stories.

Coachella’s arrangement of the artist lineup is a tradition they have had for several years. The arrangement starts with the headliner and then other artists are listed in decreasing font.

According to their official Wikipedia page, it is done in descending order of prominence.
