Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, professionally known as Mr P, has stated that he is allergic to poverty.

He made this known in a tweet on Tuesday.

”Testimony!.. Guy I’m allergic to Poverty!,” he said.

This declaration comes after a ‘concerned’ fan questioned his lavish spending after he claimed to have gotten himself an expensive jewellry collection.

The singer while sharing photos of the jewellry had said; “Early Val’s gift for myself!🥰☺️🤗Mr P⛓@icebox 💎LOADING……

The fan, @Iampaulendowed, in response to the ‘Too Late’ singer’s post said that if he could effortlessly splash millions on a diamond jewellry, he has no right to query the government’s spending whatsoever.

Hmmmmm……Millions of Naira gone for just a chain or bracelets….after you will start querying government on how they spend Thier money….Bro…..am not sure you have any scholarship or ways of supporting Nigeria students or helping the underprivileged…

Obviously irritated at the reaction of the fan, Mr P said; “I owe you nothing and nobody owes you anything! I play my part! You go play yours! Go get some sense! It’s still new year!👎🏾
