Iheanacho scores as Palace hold Leicester in dramatic draw
Crystal Palace fought back from two goals down to settled for shared points against Leicester City on Sunday.
Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho were instrumental for their respective clubs in the dramatic encounter at the Selhurst Park Stadium.
Iheanacho who missed Leciester’s Europa League defeat on Thursday put The Foxes ahead in the 31st minute.
Brendan Rodgers’ side cruised to a 2-0 lead six minutes later after Jamie Vardy pounced on an assist from Harvey Barnes.
Michael Olise gave Patrick Viera’s side a lifeline in the 61st minute before Jeffrey Schlupp netted a 72nd-minute equaliser.
Crystal Palace remain unbeaten in the Premier League at Selhurst Park since Patrick Vieira took charge (P4 W1 D3).
The Arsenal legend is the first Eagles manager to avoid defeat in his first four home games in the competition.
Leicester lie 13th on the log with one point ahead of Palace who occupy the 15th spot after gameweek seven.
