Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, led Premier League side, Leicester City to a 2-1 comeback win over Crystal Palace to strengthen their grip on the third spot and the Champions League qualification.
Ivorian winger, Wilfred Zaha, put the visitors ahead with a composed finish in the 12th-minute after a sleek defence-splitting through ball from Nigerian-British midfielder, Eberechi Eze.
The Eagles were clinical in their defence and managed to keep the Foxes at bay throughout the first half to keep the score at 1-0.
However, the hosts were not going to be denied an equaliser in the second half when the man of the moment, Iheanacho, teed up right-back, Timothy Castagne, whose left-footed strike found the back of the net.
Palace almost regained their lead moments later when Eze put Jaïro Riedewald on a one-on-one with Kasper Schmeichel but the player lacked the confidence to finish off.
He instead opted to kick the ball into the path of an onrushing Christian Benteke, allowing Johnny Evans to pull a match-winning save.
But it was Iheanacho who bagged the match-winning goal for Leicester in the 80th-minute after previous attempts through Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy failed to beat the visiting keeper.
The Nigerian controlled a through-ball from Evans, turned the defender and smashed the ball into the roof of the net from a tight angle to give the Foxes an important win.
According to Optajoe, Iheanacho has now netted 14 goals in his last 14 appearances for Leicester in all competitions, as many as he managed in his previous 76 for the Foxes.
