Ighalo receives expensive Hublot watch as birthday gift from agent
Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has received an expensive Hublot wristwatch as a birthday gift from his agent, Ladi Salami.
Ighalo who plays for Saudi club Al Shabab turned 32 on June 16 but apparently, the birthday gifts kept on pouring in and the former Manchester United striker shared videos of the diamond-aced wristwatch on his Instagram stories on Tuesday.
“Thanks to my super-agent Ladi Salami for this birthday gift. I feel so blessed to have wonderful people in my life,” Ighalo caption one of the videos which are available to his one million Instagram followers.
The Hublot watch which is laced with diamond stones on the fore and styled with black leathered straps is reportedly worth up to $17,000 equivalent to N7m (seven million naira).
WuzupNigeria reported that Ighalo who celebrated his birthday with family and friends in Nigeria was recently appointed as the Ambassador of the Resuscitated National Principal Cup by the minister of youth and sports development, Mr Sunday Dare.
Ighalo’s appointment is coming days after the Federal government appointed Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi as Youths ambassador.
The Nigeria superstar ended the Saudi Pro League season with a brace and second place with his club also paid courtesy visits to governors Yahaya Bello and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Kogi and Lagos States respectively.
