Igboho to storm Lagos July 3 for Yoruba Nation rally

Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, is set to take Lagos by storm for a continuation of Yoruba Nation rally across the South-West.

One of Igboho’s ardent followers, Ololade Alaba Shomuyiwa, popularly known as Baba Confirm, Prophet of El Adonai Cherubim and Seraphim International Bible Ministries, disclosed this on Friday, Nations reported.

He said Igboho and other supporters would be in Lagos, July 3 at the Ojota Park in continuation of the agitation for Yoruba Nation urging support the movement.

“Igboho is expected to be in Lagos on July 3, 2021, at the Ojota Park in continuation of the rally for the creation of the Yoruba nation,” Shomuyiwa said.

WuzupNigeria had reported that the Yoruba nation protesters had held rallies across South-West states, including Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, and Ondo.

Igboho insisted that the Yoruba people would no longer be part of Nigeria, saying lopsidedness in sharing leadership positions in the military and paramilitary, and high crime rate linked to Fulani herders across the region would not end until the Yoruba became an independent nation.

He also demanded immediate action by all stakeholders in the region to actualise an independent Yoruba nation, saying if they acted otherwise, the people would revolt against them.
