IF ONLY YOU DON’T VOTE THESE MURDEROUS MONSTERS! Mixed reactions trail #bloodontheflag campaign
Nigerian celebrities in a bid to express their displeasure over the incessant killings in the country, launched a campaign on Twitter with the hashtag: #bloodontheflag, “I could be a victim.”
However, Nigerians on hearing this took their Twitter handles to air their opinions on the trending hashtag: #bloodontheflag.
Some of them believe mere campaign on social media cannot change the status quo in the country. Others believe it is a starting point, adding that the message would definitely get to those in the seat of power and went ahead to call on more Nigerians to join the movement.
The campaign is gradually gathering momentum as celebrities like Baaj Adebule, Ufuoma McDermott, Deyemi Okanlawon and even #BBNaija star, Ifu Ennada have all joined the movement.

All this won’t help anything.
Let these “celebrities” take a stance. Don’t mollycoddle things. Criticize the administration openly.
Not all these 1 day protest and the next day it’s back to nudity. #bloodontheflag— Aigbe Daniel (@AigbeDaniels) July 2, 2018
