Idris Elba, Mo Abudu team up for Nigerian movie ‘Dust to Dream’

Movie star, Idris Elba is set to direct Mo Abudu’s and African Import Bank collaboration movie “Dust to Dream.”

Starring in the movie will be Nollywood stars Nse IKpe Etim,Eku Edewor,Atlanta Bridget Johnson,former Nigerian Idol contestant,Constance
Olatunde and Singer seal.

Set against the backdrop of Lagos,Nigeria,the film follows the relationship between mother and her teenage daughter as she meets her father for the first time.

Created by Mo Abudu ,written and directed by Elba,Mo Abudu will serve as executive producer and producer with Heidi Uys as supervising producer alongside Temidayo Makanjuola,Inem King, and Vanessa Demme.

The movie collaboration between Mo Abudu and AfreximBank is to be carried out through its Creative Africa Nexus.

Abudu speaking about the collaboration said “ I am delighted to be working with Afreximbank and this incredibly talented team. Dust to Dream is a story close to my heart and I am thrilled to bring it to life.”

The President of AfreximBank,Benedict Oramah also said the collaboration with EbonyLife Film is testament to their commitment in empowering Africa’s creative economy through the Canex programme
