Nigerian rapper Panshak Henry Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince, has been accused by his baby mama, Bimbo Babatunde, of neglecting their 12-year-old son, Jamal, leading to his hospitalization.
Abi shared her frustrations on Instagram, alleging that Ice Prince has failed to provide emotional, physical, and financial support for their child.
In her posts, she expressed disappointment over the rapper’s actions and detailed the challenges she has faced while raising Jamal.
“This isn’t how I want to start my year,” Abi wrote. “Things went sour after I stood in as surety for Panshak during his police case. He left me at the court and took a job out of state during his bail hearing, leaving me to face the consequences. Instead of apologizing sincerely, all he did was gaslight me as if he didn’t feel he had done anything wrong.”
Abi claimed her rent was increased by 100% after the incident, and she requested Ice Prince to contribute half since Jamal also lived there. However, he declined, suggesting that their son could stay with his family in Jos instead.
“How convenient for you,” Abi continued. “I don’t live in Jos, you don’t live in Jos, and you don’t even take care of your immediate family. I have tried to be civil. No child deserves this!”
Abi further accused Ice Prince of neglecting Jamal during his school holidays, stating that their son returned to school with dirty clothes and no provisions.
“Yesterday, Jamal returned from the holidays and was taken back to school without his essentials or provisions. He arrived with a bag of dirty clothes. Panshak couldn’t even ensure his child had clean clothes or the provisions needed for a new school term,” she wrote.
She also alleged that Jamal’s health had been affected by poor conditions at his boarding school, including moldy walls that triggered his asthma. Despite her efforts to involve a lawyer to secure a stable welfare plan for Jamal, Abi claimed that Ice Prince refused to commit to monthly support.
Abi revealed that she reached out to people close to Ice Prince, hoping they would hold him accountable, but received no support.
“Jamal would fall sick at school, and I’d have to argue and cuss before his father would arrange for someone to take him to see a doctor,” she said. “I even sent him a video of complaints from other parents about the school’s neglect, but he dismissed it.”
Not much is known about Ice Prince’s personal relationships. However, last year, media personality Moet Abebe shocked many by claiming that she had been in a relationship with the rapper for 12 years.
The revelation raised eyebrows, especially after Ice Prince denied being in any relationship during an interview. He explained that he wasn’t in the right frame of mind to be with anyone,
The rapper has previously spoken about the challenges of love and the financial burdens of relationships.
