The viral video of Comfort Emmanson being forcibly removed from an Ibom Air flight on August 10 has sparked widespread debate online, with many weighing in on aviation protocol and passenger conduct.

However, for Nollywood filmmaker Biodun Stephen, the incident carried a different message — one about modesty and preparedness.

In a video posted to Instagram, Stephen addressed the moment during the altercation when Emmanson’s chest became exposed as she struggled with flight attendants and security personnel.

“I warned before, but people dragged me,” she said. “If you know you want to fight, wear pants and bra first. The lady wore leggings, but I don’t believe she wore p*nties. Everybody saw what they weren’t supposed to see.”

According to Ibom Air, the altercation began before takeoff after Emmanson allegedly refused to switch off her mobile phone, violating aviation safety regulations. The situation quickly escalated, leading to a physical confrontation that ended with security personnel removing her from the aircraft.

Stephen referenced past occasions where she had cautioned women to always wear proper undergarments in public, particularly in situations where physical conflict might arise.

“I’m saying it again. Wear your bra, wear your pant — so that when the spirit of Hulk Hogan enters you, you’ll be ready for battle,” she added.

Her comments have reignited conversations online, with some supporting her perspective and others criticizing it as judgmental.
