Nollywood actress Regina Daniels broke down in tears in a new video where she spoke about her emotional struggles and hinted at returning to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress shared the emotional video on her Instagram Story early Friday, saying she was battling mental and emotional distress.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the video.
Her outburst comes days after she revealed that her once-estranged parents reconciled for her happiness.
She wrote, “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.”
Daniels explained that her parents were now in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for several days.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she said.
In another video shared by Daniels, fellow actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy. “He’s not here,” Johnson said in the clip before continuing her search elsewhere.
Amid tears, Daniels expressed her frustration, saying, “But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back.”
The emotional post follows her previous revelation of facing domestic violence in her marriage.
A video released on October 18 showed Daniels crying as she said, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Nwoko later denied the allegations, claiming her breakdown was linked to “drug and alcohol abuse” and saying she needed rehabilitation.
Earlier this week, Daniels also pleaded with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, calling her “my pillar and protector.” She promised to fight for her sons, Munir and Khalifa, despite her marital crisis.
“I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she said, adding that her family never approved of her marriage.
