A lady identified as Onize Ismaila has been allegedly murdered by her boyfriend in her home at CITEC Estate, Mbora District (Jabi by Airport road), Abuja.
Reports said the deceased, who is the only child of her mother was heard screaming “Don’t kill me, I will give you the N1 million.”
It was gathered that before neighbours could come to her rescue, her throat had already been slit with a knife with cuts on her private part.
An undisclosed source said prior to the day of her murder, the boyfriend requested for an undisclosed amount of money.
The boyfriend, who is now a murder suspect reportedly forgot his phone while trying to escape from the crime scene.
The deceased, whose mother is said to be a high ranking police officer lived alone in Abuja.
It was further gathered that the deceased, who hails from Okene, Kogi State, has been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend.
A source said the boyfriend, who is now a murder suspect has been violent towards her.
