Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Toheeb Adedokun Akorede, better known as Funny Toheeb, has taken his art to a whole new level.
Funny Toheeb who disclosed that he was not born with a silver spoon said that his mother always encouraged him to think out of the box.
In an interview with BBC, the Instagram sensation said he wants to be the one to change his family’s story by continuing to think outside the box like his mother taught him.
Funny Toheeb who has gained popularity with his funny imitations of celebrities and renowned personalities said his aim is to make people laugh and quell depression.
He further revealed that his work also has its peculiar challenges because some of the materials may be hard to get.
“It’s not a days job, some pictures we spent weeks replicating them.
“Sometimes we work at night, sometimes the material will not be around…” he said.
Funny Toheeb has imitated celebrities like Cardi B, 50 Cent, Jenifer Lopez, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Nikki Minaj, Beyonce, Rita Dominic, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido, Don Jazzy, amongst others.
Some of the materials he uses to recreate his object of attractions are plastic bottles, noodles, groundnuts, pots, pans, nylons, leaves, waste bin, live chicken etc.
