Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has revealed that she was forced into marriage at the age of 15 — a confession that has stirred emotional reactions from viewers and fellow housemates alike.
During a heartfelt conversation with co-housemate Jason Jae, the model and reality star opened up about her early life struggles, stating that the marriage was imposed on her against her will.
“I was married off really young as a child. I was about 15. Was it something I wanted? No, it was not something I wanted, but it happened,” she said.
Sultana credited her inner strength and growing self-awareness for helping her leave the marriage, especially during her university years when she began to embrace her individuality.
“The thing is, my stubbornness got me out of it. I was at the university, and I was already growing. The things I like what I like, I like tattoos, piercings. In fact, I have not gotten the kind of tattoos I want to get because I am scared of my mom. I was a virgin at the time I was in university,” she added.
The housemate also disclosed that she is a mother to two daughters, both delivered through cesarean section.
“But you see, with me, I have been married before. I have got two kids. But you would not know because I had them via CS,” she said.
