Ghananian actor and politician, John Dumelo, has mocked Nigerians, saying he was so confident that the Super Eagles would not win the Black Stars of Ghana.
His statement follows the World Cup qualifiers match between both countries.
Nigeria had to settle for a 0-0 draw in Ghana on Friday after VAR overruled a decision to award the visitors a penalty in the first leg of a World Cup play-off.
Reacting to the goalless match, the 38-year-old on Instagram again bragged about being sure that the Super Eagles will not defeat Ghana.
“Dear super chickens I was confident you won’t win this game, but before you leave for N’ja, I have free ginger from my farm for you. Yours truly… John Dumelo. Son of Likpe.”
The politician who started off as an actor had earlier vowed to trek from Accra to Lagos if the Super Eagles win the match.
“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefooted from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot,” he had said.
