Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has disclosed that she spent over N30 million buying first-class tickets while attempting to leave Nigeria.

Bobrisky shared the details in a recent Instagram post after being released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

In the Instagram post, Bobrisky wrote, “Dis girl bought class ticket three times, that’s over N30 million. Raise bar for this girl (sic).” Alongside the post, she shared a video of herself on an airplane with a caption saying, “See you soon Nigeria.” Although she did not reveal her final destination, the screen in front of her indicated Amsterdam, Netherlands, as her next stop.

Earlier, Bobrisky had been stopped at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday night while boarding an Amsterdam-bound flight with KLM Airlines. She was taken to EFCC’s headquarters in Abuja for questioning after an audio clip allegedly involving her went viral. In the clip, Bobrisky reportedly accused popular artist Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, of seeking his father, activist Femi Falana’s, help to secure her a presidential pardon.

Following her arrest, Bobrisky posted on social media, saying, “Nigerians, help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.” However, she later received bail and denied the allegations against her.

The EFCC has not issued further statements regarding the case, but Bobrisky has since assured her fans that she is out of custody and continuing her journey.
