Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has revealed that his biggest regret in life is having children with different women.
Speaking in a recent video shared on his Instagram page, Franklin opened up about the emotional toll of managing relationships with multiple baby mamas, describing it as the worst decision he had ever made.
“I wish that some things that had happened in my life, and this is one of them. I wish I had taken a different road on it,” he said.
Advising younger men to avoid making the same mistakes, he warned that no amount of money justifies the complications that come with having children with multiple partners.
“No matter the money that you think you have, no matter what you think you are doing, trust me that should never be anything that you are going to do or a decision you’re going to make in your life,” he said.
“Taking care of them is not the problem but managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers. So, I want to tell you something as young people, please and please, no matter the money you have or the life you wanted to live, let baby mama drama not be part of it.”
Franklin married actress Lilian Esoro on November 1, 2015, but the couple separated a year later. The marriage was legally dissolved in January 2021. They share a son, Jayden.
Aside from Jayden, Franklin has three other children from different relationships: Zaneta, Ariella, and Shiloh.
