Three men, Shehu Abdullahi, 20, Babawuro Jauro Sani, 27, and Wada Wakili Musa, 25, have been arrested and placed in police custody, waiting to be arraigned before court.
The three young men were arrested by the Bauchi State Police for extortion and armed robbery in the vicinity.
They terrorised the residents and commuters along the Kano-Maiduguri highway.

According to reports, the three men block roads which makes it impossible to access the full road then launch an attack on innocent people.
Shehu Abdullahi, the youngest among them confessed all activities taken by the crew and revealed that he involved himself in armed robbery to enable him fund his wedding.
“Honestly, I wanted to marry and I did not have the money. I wanted to use it to marry.”
