Nigerian music icon, Tiwa Savage, has opened up about her decision to freeze her eggs.
The ‘Somebody Son’ crooner also shared her desire to have more children, specifically boys.
In a candid interview, Savage shared that she wants to have boys and has taken steps to ensure that dream remains a possibility.
“I want more children, boys,” Savage said.
“I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy.”
Savage’s decision to freeze her eggs highlights her desire to take control of her fertility and plan for her future.
As a single mother of one, she is preparing for the possibility of having more children in the future.
“”Having my first child in my 30s was beautiful because I was more financially and emotionally stable. One advice I will give to women in their 30s is – whether you want to have children or not, freeze your eggs,” Savage advised. She emphasized that egg freezing provides a sense of control over an otherwise unpredictable timeline, allowing women to make choices about their future”, she added.
