American songwriter, actor and lead singer for the pop rock band Maroon 5, Adam Noah Levine, turns 40 today, but he’s feeling younger than ever.
In an interview with People about the milestone birthday, the Maroon 5 frontman jokes that he’s actually ageing backwards.
“I feel like I’m Benjamin Button-ing. I feel younger and less mature, better-looking and just overall more youthful,” he says, referencing the 2008 Brad Pitt movie.
“Maybe I was born old!”
His wife Behati Prinsloo, with whom he shares two daughters, agrees that her husband is only getting better with age.
“I definitely think the older he gets, the more he’s been taking care of himself, working out and doing yoga,” she tells People.
“He’s so aware. He also doesn’t drink much and is very much a workaholic.”
She adds,
“He works out, then he’s with family. He really is ageing backwards and getting sexier with time!”
