The girlfriend of popular skit maker Carter Efe, Emmanuella, has spoken out in support of her partner amid criticisms over his daring antics in comedy skits.
During a livestream with Carter Efe, she addressed concerns raised by some viewers about his extreme approach to content creation.
She clarified that she is not embarrassed by his profession and, in fact, motivates him to push creative boundaries.
According to Emmanuella, she is always aware of the content before it is made public, making it impossible for her to be ashamed of it.
Emmanuella also encouraged women to stand by their partners regardless of societal judgment. She urged others to show pride in their significant other’s profession, even if it’s unconventional.
Emphasising the importance of support in relationships, she expressed pride in Carter Efe and the work he does.
She said: “I know most of you see him [Carter Efe] online doing stuff and you feel like maybe he’s disgracing me. To be honest, before he do it, I’m aware. So, how can I be embarrassed or ashamed of who I already know?
“I’m actually the one who advises him to do crazy stunts. He’s not embarrassing me. I’m even the one who encourages him to do those stunts. So, I’m never ashamed of my man. Don’t ever be ashamed of whatever your man is doing.”
