Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko has dismissed claims that he is asking his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, to return to his home.

In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Nwoko said he was not in contact with Daniels and had no intention of reconciling with her. He said, “I am not chatting with Regina, and I don’t want her back in my life. I just want her to go for therapy. She is under the influence of drugs and whatever she says are lies.”

He said anyone who truly cared about her and the children should take her to a rehabilitation centre. He added that Daniels had been doing well until her birthday, when she rented an entire floor at a hotel in Wuse 2. According to him, “She hired a complete floor at the destination hotel in Wuse 2, where they all stayed for 4 days of drugs, violence and fights with the police and other guests. This was the beginning of the end.”

Nwoko also claimed she once recorded him in the bathroom without his knowledge. He said, “I woke up one morning around 5 am to use the bathroom and suddenly found Regina in my bathroom. I was shocked that she videoed me in the bathroom and posted it online. That is how irrational she had become.”

He pointed to a WhatsApp message he said he sent her on October 17, insisting it supported his account.

His comments follow Daniels’ warning a day earlier, where she threatened to expose him. She accused him of murder, land grabbing, fraud, and other offences. She also claimed he introduced her to drugs, including ecstasy, to satisfy him and make their sexual life more intense.

In another post, Daniels shared photos of herself in a black dress and said she wore black to mourn her past. She urged Nwoko to get a new wife and leave her alone.

Weeks earlier, Daniels had accused Nwoko of domestic violence. In a viral clip, she was seen crying and saying she was not treated as a queen in his home.
