Controversial relationship therapist Blessing CEO has addressed recent rumours surrounding her health and fundraising efforts, explaining that she does not have stage four cancer and defending her decision to raise money for treatment.

In an exclusive interview with the web show Young and Healthy Bros, hosted by Egungun, Blessing said miscommunication had contributed to confusion about her illness.

“I don’t have stage 4 cancer. That was a miscommunication,” she said.

“I just received my biopsy results. Initially, the lump was thought to be non-cancerous, but later tests revealed it was cancerous. I haven’t started chemotherapy yet, and I’m still awaiting further tests to determine the exact stage.”

She also addressed questions about the fundraising for her treatment, clarifying the amount raised.

“The money raised is not hundreds of millions, as some people think. It’s just 13 million naira,” she noted.

“I will not post my results online because it’s personal, and I don’t owe anyone an apology. I’m just trying to communicate what the doctors have told me.”

Blessing emphasised that her goal remains to explore all treatment options and ensure she makes informed decisions. “I just want to be sure about what I am doing. I’m not a doctor; I’m only sharing the updates I receive from them,” she added.

In a viral video posted earlier, she defended her decision to raise funds early as a financial precaution, even before knowing the exact cost of the procedure. She disclosed that her surgery had been postponed due to online controversy.

“If I show you the result, can you interpret it? Show me one cancer patient who came to the internet to show their results,” she said.

“Most of you who are making noise did not bring one kobo. If you do not trust me, do not give me your money. I do not put a gun to your head to give me your one naira. I have paid my dues on social media.”
