I DIDN’T SEE MY CHILD! Newborn baby goes missing minutes after birth in Kogi [Photos]
There was drama, yesterday, at Peniel Maternity and Clinic, Anyigba, Kogi State, after a newborn baby went missing.
According to Elegant Broadcasting Corporation, Fitumi a relative to the husband disclosed that the baby was delivered in the early hours of yesterday and got missing after few hours.
She added that the child was under the care of the nurse on duty before the sudden disappearance. When the nurse was interrogated, she couldn’t explain how it occurred but said she saw a lady in hijab.
On her part, the mother, Joy Idah Mudi, revealed that she didn’t see her child before she went missing because she was put in a separate ward after delivery.
The nurse in charge has since been arrested.
