I can’t give my wife $36 billion, its ’till death do us part,’ Basketmouth reacts to Jeff Bezos’ divorce settlement

Ace comedian and actor, Basketmouth, has reacted to the mouthwatering divorce settlement of Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, and his ex-wife, MacKenzie Bezos.

In an Instagram post, the comedian humorously declared that he cannot give his wife $36 billion for a divorce agreement because It’s already written: “till death do us part.”

The comedian further said even if his wife is cheating on him, he’ll tolerate and understand her.

Basketmouth said;

$36Billion!! It’s already written “Till death do us part” I will never leave that marriage, for what??

“Even if she’s cheating on me, I’m sure I will understand. Abegi….

“Worse comes to worse I start sleeping in the guest room. N36Billion?? Kuku kill me. We die there!!!!!”

WuzupNaija had reported that the world’s richest man and his wife MacKenzie have agreed to a record-breaking divorce settlement of at least $35bn (£27bn).

Ms Bezos keeps a 4% stake in the online retail giant, worth $35.6bn on its own.

Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos in Seattle in 1994, a year after the couple married, and Ms Bezos was one of its first employees.

The pair who obviously has respect for one another also tweeted positive comments about their divorce settlements on their Twitter handle.

According to Forbes, the Amazon shares alone will make Ms Bezos the world’s third-richest woman while Jeff will remain the world’s richest person.
