Nigerian-born American rapper and producer, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, popularly known as Wale, has cried out to his fans over trying times.
Like Harrysong and Samklef, Wale shared cryptic messages on his social media handles and said he can’t explain “this pain.”
Wale, who might be going through depression stressed that you have no one adding that there is absolutely nobody to run to no matter how much you are loved.
Wale wrote;
“I can’t escape this pain. Sometimes there’s absolutely nobody to go to no matter how much they love you.
“You have no one. No one is more alone than a person that’s the focal point.
“Some strong friends have no strong friends.”
However, the 33-year-old “Black Bonnie” crooner has also criticised people who exaggerated the viral stories about him.
Wale also thanked one Mac for showing him love adding that we all hurt but don’t heal the same.
He tweeted;
“Social media has compromised the way we grieve. I’m happy then I’m sad then I’m appreciative then I’m sad then I’m angry etc.
“I see pictures and feel grateful. I see captions and feel people spinning bogus narratives. I write what’s on my mind and delete it…
“I’m so thankful for Mac bringin me and some special people together, the gift of love is flawless. We ALLL hurt but we don’t heal the same.”
The entertainment industry has in the past few days been swamped with news of depression and suicidal thoughts.
Recall that Harrysong scared his fans after he shared an alarming IG post some days ago. He also sought help after well-meaning Nigerians reached out to him.

Take your time to focus on processing what has happened, grieve, move forward and do what you love doing for him.

Nothing on social media is genuine. It’s all performative to some degree. So toxic but also very necessary. Basically a drug.

Grief, like all others, are dynamic emotion that change form as you take in new information with time and as moves through your physiology. If your emotions are stagnant you’re using them wrong.

It sounds to me like you’re moving through the 7 stages of grief.

I think you’d feel the same way without it. I went through, and am still going through, all of those emotions. Although stepping a way from social media does feel amazing.

Too many irrelevant opinions get mixed in with worthy ones on social media.

There’s also the belief that there’s a limited amount of grief to go around. People will actually get upset with you if you’re not sad about the “right things” and it’s not a healthy way to live.
