American reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian, has spoken openly about her Christian faith, saying her belief in God and Jesus Christ guides her daily life and helps her through both happy and difficult moments.
Kardashian shared the personal revelation while speaking on a recent episode of her podcast, where she explained how prayer and reading the Bible have become part of her everyday routine.
“I’m a child of God and I believe in God and that Jesus is the Son of God,” she said. “That’s my belief system, and it’s something that gets me through every day, good or bad.”
According to her, she begins each morning by reading Scripture. She revealed that she opens two Bible apps on her phone as soon as she wakes up, a habit she has kept for a long time.
“I think it sets the tone for my day in such a beautiful way and anchors my day in gratitude,” Kardashian said.
She explained that prayer is not limited to a particular time of the day, describing her communication with God as constant and personal.
“I love talking to God multiple times throughout my day,” she said. “It just gives me comfort. It’s my security blanket.”
Kardashian also said prayer is part of her family routine. She revealed that she prays with her two children every night before bed, keeping the prayers short and suitable for their age, before saying her own personal prayers.
“By myself, I always just thank God for the day and all of our blessings,” she said.
She noted that gratitude, not desperation, drives her prayers.
“I don’t want to just turn to God if I need something,” Kardashian said. “I want Him to know how grateful I am for everything that I have, even when something goes wrong.”
The reality star further shared how her faith influenced the foundation of her home. She said that while her house was under construction, she visited the site and wrote Bible verses on the wooden frames.
“I wrote Bible verses that I felt were strong and positive and what I wanted this house to be rooted in,” she said.
Reflecting on her spiritual journey, Kardashian admitted that her faith was not always steady. She recalled struggling with anger and feeling distant from God after the death of her father, but said prayer slowly brought her back.
“The power of prayer is so real and so strong,” she said. “I know because I have so much faith.”
She also spoke about praying during serious moments in the lives of loved ones, including when her former husband, Lamar Odom, was in a coma.
“I know I was heard by God,” Kardashian said. “There’s just no other way. My faith does not waver.”
Kardashian added that prayer does not need to follow strict rules, describing it as a natural and ongoing conversation with God.
“I’m going to pray until the cows come home or until Jesus comes back,” she said. “Whichever one.”
