I AM TOO BUSY TO ATTEND BUHARI’S ROUNDTABLE DINNER! – Kokun foundation

Philanthropist Kokun has said he is too busy to attend President Muhammadu Buhari’s roundtable dinner with some selected entertainers and youth ambassadors even if he was invited.

The philanthropist made the statement in defence of his earlier comment that the government had misplaced it’s priority by not inviting people like him to the dinner.

Kokun, who made the statement after photos of the dinner went viral online was lambasted by Nigerians who asked him if he was doing his charity work to be called for a dinner party.

Defending himself,  the 30-year-old hunger hero has said he never complained about not being invited, saying he is too busy to go wine and dine with Buhari and wouldn’t have gone if invited.

Kokun, who had blasted the president for dining with only musicians said his meaning was misunderstood.

“I never said they should invite me, I won’t go cos I’m too busy” he said, directly negating his earlier statement accusing the presidency of sidelining him.
