Manchester United suffered a third successive loss in the new season on Sunday after they were defeated 3-1 by Watford at Vicarage Road.

After a bright start to the league campaign in August, Jose Mourinho’s United have lost to Manchester City, the Europa League opener at Feyenoord and now Watford within nine days.

18-year-old Marcus Rashford cancelled out Etienne Capoue’s opener before Watford surged back in front in the final seven minutes.

Substitute Camilo Zuniga scored from his first touch and Troy Deeney netted a penalty in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Nigeria’s Isaac Success, who replaced his compatriot Odion Ighalo in the 90th minute, became the talking point of the entertaining match after his moment of brilliance against United’s highly rated defender Eric Bailey during the match.

The former Granada player mesmerizing dribble run caused the penalty from which Watford scored their 3rd goal to beat Manchester United for the first time in 30 years.

Success dribbled Bailey just moments after he replaced Ighalo, Watford teammate Juan Camilo Zuniga was then fouled as he tried to control the ball through before skipper Troy Deeney made no mistakes for Watford to win 3-1 at home.

Many football fans that watched the match did not fail to spot the individual brilliance showed by Success and after the match they took to Twitter to react. See some of the reactions below:

Success joined Watford from Spanish La Liga club Granada CF in the summer on a club record fee.

The big home win will save Ighalo some blushes after he blasted wide a sitter in the first half.

The Hornets are now ninth on the Premier League table with seven points from five matches.
