An upcoming Nigerian artiste has taken to social media to berate the activities of some operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force after they allegedly shaved his hair forcefully in Edo State.

The artiste identified as @official.xavage on Instagram said he was on his way to Ekpoma when he was stopped by the operatives over his hairdo.

He said after much interrogation, the officers ended up shaving his hair with a razor blade.

The artiste said he is more saddened that his hair was shaved with the blade they have used on other victims, expressing fears that he may contact a disease because the blade cut his skin during the process

He shared a photo of his shaved head on his IG page and wondered how his hairdo is a problem to the country that it has become a major concern to the police.

He wrote:

“Still don’t know how my hair is Nigeria’s problem.

I was forced to cut my hair by fed sars today on my way to Ekpoma, they used a razor blade which obviously they used on everyone else…..fuck they even cut me………#saynotoSARSharassment”
