How I lost N11m in 2014 – Ubi Franklin
Music executive, Ubi Franklin says how he lost N11 million while battling for his life in 2014.
Although many years have gone by, Franklin revisited the incident in an Instagram post on Monday.
He explained that his guys went out with him to celebrate the brand new Toyota Venza that he had just acquired.
On the way to a joint, a car rammed into them around Oriental Hotel in Lekki but thankfully no lives were lost.
He disclosed that it was a bitter-sweet experience for many reasons.
In his account, the Venza he bought for #11 million was crushed behind recognition.
A saddened Ubi confessed that he borrowed the money he used to buy the sleek ride from close friends and family.
He further added that God actually replenished everything they lost that dreadful day, but he is yet to forget the pain he felt when he sold a car he bought for 11 million as scarp for #800,000 in less than 48 hours.
