A resurfaced account of an assassination attempt on Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has stirred conversations across social media following a gripping testimony shared by his daughter, Love Ogah.

During a sermon delivered on April 16, 2025, Ogah shared a traumatic childhood memory involving a late-night home invasion by armed men allegedly sent to eliminate her father.

She recounted how the attackers stormed their residence and made it clear they were looking for Bishop Oyedepo.

According to her, the assailants repeatedly demanded to know the bishop’s whereabouts. However, despite being present in the house at the time, the gunmen were inexplicably unable to see him. As the situation grew tense, the family concealed themselves behind a door. Ogah described how the attackers fired shots at the hiding spot, one of which struck her upper gum.

Her aunt, in visible distress, questioned what might have happened had the gunmen found Oyedepo.

In a moment of spiritual reflection, Ogah recalled that her father later emerged and calmly said he had been watching the men the entire time—but they simply couldn’t see him.

She added a message of faith, urging people to “know God for themselves” and emphasized the importance of developing a personal relationship with Him.

The testimony has since sparked widespread reaction online, with many praising the story as a testament to divine protection, while others debated the plausibility of such an event.
