Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, recently shared a remarkable story about how an anointed handkerchief from his church allegedly brought a woman back to life after she had been dead for 11 days.

During a sermon, Pastor Adeboye narrated how a man working in Lagos received news that his sister in the southeastern part of Nigeria had passed away.

The man pleaded with his family not to bury her until he could get permission from work and travel for the burial. By the time he got permission, it had already been 11 days since the woman’s death.

Pastor Adeboye recounted, “By the time he got permission, he was able to arrive, the woman had been dead for eleven days. They have embalmed her, kept her in the house. But he had a handkerchief that had been anointed by us.”

The pastor explained that the man entered the room where his sister’s body was kept, carrying the little child the woman had left behind. He laid the anointed handkerchief on her and commanded, “I command you in the name of the God of Adeboye, arise,” before leaving the room in sorrow. As the man was about to exit, he heard a sound behind him and turned to find that his sister was sitting up.

This extraordinary account has sparked various reactions online. Some people believe the story, while others are skeptical.

One commenter, @akinz_babe, tweeted, “Oh, it’s definitely true! I was right there, front row seat, watching the whole thing. Unbelievable stuff.”

However, others were not as convinced. @cfcwelt questioned, “Jesus raised after 3 days but in Nigeria, we can raise after 11 days, are we not wonderful?”

Another user, @Mrlekan213, expressed doubts, saying, “Man, I don’t think I can ever believe these unless he can do that again on someone else in my presence.”

@RealQueenBee__ tweeted, “When someone lies unprovoked.”Peace of Mind said: “Make una no allow Danny make e see this video sha, But tbh the fact most people don’t believe it happened doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.”

@OkahEwehEdede noted, “This is complete bullsh!t. When mortals transcend to the atrium of immortality, there is an invisible chord that tetters the soul and spirit to the body. The soul is released after 3 days, and absolutely nothing can bring it back again. The spirit can stay as long as it wants.”

@Aklemz wondered, “But why are this generation don’t believe in miracles, when Christ himself said we’d outdo him if we believe? There’s nothing the power of God can’t do.”
