A Nigerian lady residing in Canada has warned fellow Nigerians hoping to relocate to North America that it is a very lonely place to be.
The lady identified as @iam_besha revealed this on Twitter, on Friday.
Canada, a country in North America is one place most Nigerians have always dreamed of relocating to all things being equal.
According to Immigration.Ca, in five years from 2015 through to the end of 2019, the number of Nigerians becoming new permanent residents in Canada more than tripled, rising from 4,090 to as high as 12,600 in 2019, just before COVID-19 hit Canada.
Noting that, she is only trying to inform people in case no one had previously told them. She said; "Before you come to Canada, just in case no one told you, this place is very lonely."
Her post elicited mixed reactions on Twitter.
