Manchester United staged a remarkable comeback from being two goals down to clinch a 3-2 victory against Aston Villa, with Rasmus Hojlund emerging as the hero with a late winner—his inaugural goal in the Premier League.

Aston Villa took an early lead in the first half, courtesy of goals from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker, establishing a comfortable two-goal cushion at halftime.

Although United believed they had pulled one back with Alejandro Garnacho finishing off a brilliant team move, the goal was disallowed for offside.

However, this setback fueled United’s determination, and within 10 minutes, Garnacho found the net, ending United’s goal drought of over seven hours.

With 20 minutes remaining, Garnacho struck again, leveling the score and setting the stage for an electrifying finish.

In the final stages of the game, Manchester United seized control, and Rasmus Hojlund, in a timely fashion, smashed home his first Premier League goal, propelling United ahead.

Under the management of Erik ten Hag, the team held on to secure the victory, breaking a streak of four matches without a win.
