Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has raised alarm that his personal account has been frozen.

He raised the alarm on his twitter handle. However, Sahara Reporters said some of the misappropriated arms fund were found in the account and that’s why it was frozen.
Reacting to the claim, EFCC said commission said that the immunity he is enjoying does not prevent the commission from investigating suspicious movements of money into his accounts.

The Spokesman for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren said: “Immunity does not prevent EFCC from investigating suspicious accounts of those enjoying immunity and Fayose cannot be an exception.”
