Media Personality, Toke Makinwa, has urged Nigerians who have been met with heartbreak to be strong as the pain they experienced was necessary for their growth.
Toke Makinwa in an Instagram story on Tuesday reflected on how long it took her to understand that hurt could be a blessing in disguise because pain births purpose.
She said; “Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.”
“If they didn’t hurt you so bad perhaps you won’t be where you are today. Pain births purpose, the pain was necessary for growth.
A few weeks ago, the 37-year-old media personality had also highlighted a great deal of efforts put into becoming the woman she is.
She said, “I’ve got 3 main shows on Tv sha… I don’t toot my own horn enough GUS. Jungle Diary and Talk with TokeMakinwa.
“I’m on YouTube too, billboard’s, multiple endorsements. This is the life I once prayed for. I’ve worked so hard to become this bad ass chick. On becoming more.”
