A Nigerian DJ, Silver Apeh aka DJ Silver, has slumped and died while playing in a charity football match in Jos, Plateau.

The married father of one died during a friendly match between DJs and the inmates of a prison in Jos.

DJ Silver, who prior to his death was The Unity 93.3 FM guest DJ, reportedly led his in prayers before kickoff.

However, Silver, who was the goalkeeper, slumped during the match and was rushed to Faith Alive hospital, where he gave up the ghost.

WuzupNaija recalls that recently the Ogun State Police Command arrested a man over the death of his married lover after a marathon sex.

The suspect, one 28-year-old Kelvin Micheal, was taken into police custody on Wednesday following a complaint from the hospital where Monsurat Idowu died.

According to Ogun Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, Micheal was arrested after one Benjamin Okereke of the State Hospital, Ota reported that the suspect brought the deceased to the hospital dead.

The hospital decided to notify the police when Micheal could not explain the circumstances surrounding the death of 40-year-old Idowu.

On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have met the deceased last month in a bus at Ketu, Lagos, where they exchanged phone numbers. He invited her to the house of his friend in Ota where the deceased suddenly slumped and died shortly after they finished having sexual intercourse.

Oyeyemi said the husband of the deceased, Idowu Lamidi, a commercial driver who was quickly contacted, told the police that he left his wife in the house hale and hearty while going out for work, wondering what led to her untimely death.
