The first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, has reportedly ordered the arrest of her Aide-de-camp, Mr. Baba-Inna, for allegedly defrauding her.
According to Premium Times, Mrs. Buhari accused her aide of receiving huge donations from politicians and business people on her behalf.
Mrs. Buhari, therefore, requested the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to arrest and compel Mr. Baba-Inna to refund the money, put at over N2.5billion.
The police immediately launched an investigation over the petition from Mrs Buhari and the ADC was arrested on Friday last week.

However, Premium Times reports that the outcome of the raid and checks on his bank account showed that money of such magnitude was not in those locations.
Investigators only found N1,200 cash in the Garki house. His bank account was also investigated and had only a balance of N30,000 while the transaction records showed that most credits to the account were his salaries and allowances.”
According to reports, Mrs. Buhari was reportedly not satisfied by the outcome of the investigation and ordered the State Security Service take over the case.
The SSS said Sani Baba-Inna, a chief superintendent of police, is undergoing interrogation.
The spokesperson of the service, Peter Afunanya, who confirmed the reports said;
“He was handed over by the Police and investigation is ongoing.”
Baba-Inna’s wife, Hassana, was reportedly allowed to visit him today.
