A 30-year-old man, Goddy Inyama, has been arraigned for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl through the anus and vagina.
Inyama was brought before the Ajegunle Magistrate court by Police Inspector Augustine Ejembi for defiling the 10-year old.
The incident occurred on May 6, 2018, at Sogbesan street, Apapa.

The 30-year-old pleaded not guilty to a three-count of unlawful sexual intercourse, unlawful touching of breast and penetrating the anus.
The prosecutor, Inspector Augustine Ejembi, told the court that the defendant unlawfully and sexually touched a 10-year-old girl in her vagina on May 6 at 7 p.m.
“Inyama sexually penetrated the anus, vagina and other parts of the victim’s body.
“He had sex with the girl through her anus and vagina and also touched her sexually without her consent.”
Ejembi said the offences were Punishable Under Sections 263 (1), 261 and 137, of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
Magistrate Ajayi granted Inyama bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum.
The case was adjourned till September 20 for Director of Public Prosecution’s advice.
