Harvey Weinstein pleads not guilty ahead of rape trial in Los Angeles

Convicted Hollywood movie producer, Harvey Weinstein, has the tape rolling on him in prison, according to TMZ’s discovery.

Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault. He was found guilty in a trial in New York last month, a dramatic fall from grace for one of Hollywood’s most powerful figures.

In order to avoid the dramatic end which happened to Jeffrey Edward Epstein, an American financier/convicted sex offender who mysteriously died in his Metropolitan Correctional Center jail cell on August 10, 2019, TMZ reports that Weinstein has a correctional officer following about with a camera, asides from the regular surveillance cameras in the prison.

According to TMZ, any guard assigned by the Wende Correctional Facility in upstate NY to shadow Weinstein on a daily basis has a camera on him at eye-level.

Here’s why he is being filmed on a regular according to TMZ:

Prison officials are worried if they take their eyes off Weinstein things could quickly go awry.

Prison officials are doing this to tamp down any conspiracy theories that might arise if things go south — not just that, they’re looking to cover their butts from criminal liability.

If there’s a mountain of visual evidence at the ready, nobody can accuse them of screwing up like the Epstein guards allegedly did.
