Hardship: Nigeria needs intercessory prayers, says Woli Arole
Nigerian comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Woli Arole, has called on Nigerians to maintain hope in the face of ongoing economic challenges in the country. In a recent interview, Arole acknowledged the hardships faced by many and emphasized the importance of staying optimistic.
“I understand people are going through a lot. I don’t know how the average person is going to cope now…but you need to keep hope alive,”
During the discussion, Arole, who has also embraced a new calling as a pastor, shared a prophetic message for the nation.
He revealed insights he claimed to have received from God, addressing the challenges facing Nigeria and emphasizing the need for constant intercessory prayer.
“I was just talking to, speaking to my friends, that’s friends, my guys, we need to raise a constant intercessory system for this nation”
“I speak as a spokesman of God. if any aspirant has entered, they will still face the same challenges” Arole stated
He further mentioned the importance of wisdom for the current regime, stating, “This regime needs wisdom of policies to remove and to replace. Of people that should be ejected out of the cabinet and people that should be healed. I speak as an oracle of God. This is not the time where somebody’s in a cabinet, to function in a capacity”

The economic hardship in the country had led to several protests in Ibadan, Kano, and Minna with citizens angered over the alarming rate of inflation in the country.
Meanwhile, Woli Arole has faced criticism for his recent deliverance session at Harvesters International Christian Centre in Lagos.
The comedian-turned-pastor hugged church members closely, including women, during prayers, leading some to fall under the anointing.
The incident sparked controversy online, with netizens expressing varying opinions on the appropriateness of such actions during a church service.
