Nigerian writer and performance poetry artist, Dike Chukwmerije, has narrated how he narrowly escaped death by a stray bullet.
The award-winning author said his car was parked in front of his house and he was standing beside it when something fell out of the sky and hit the windscreen.
In a Facebook post, Dike shared photos of the stray bullet and his shattered windscreen.

Dike wrote;
“Today, my car was struck by a stray bullet. It was parked in front of my house, and I was standing beside it, when something fell out of the sky and punched a hole through the windscreen.
“At first, I thought someone had thrown a stone or something over the fence. But what I found on my bonnet, amidst the shattered glass, was a spent bullet.
“Is this how it happens?
