HAPPENING NOW! Mask-wearing DSS operatives block National Assembly
Operatives of the Department of State Services have occupied entrances to the National Assembly in the early hours of today (Tuesday).
The mask-wearing operatives have prevented some lawmakers from entering the complex among which was Senator Rafiu Ibrahim representing Kwara South.
No details yet as to why the operatives surrounded the National Assembly.

However, multiple online sources have described the development as a coup.
The operatives took over the National Assembly entrance which is usually manned by policemen and National Assembly internal security operatives.
The leadership of the parliament is expected to meet at about noon later on Tuesday to deliberate on pending issues affecting the polity, especially the 2019 general elections and the N428 billion election budget proposal presented to the National Assembly in July by President Muhammadu Buhari.

For the record:
The Pastor and Professor in law Vice President, @ProfOsinbajo is the Acting commander in-chief of the armed forces, and DSS has illegally taken over the National Assembly. Nigerian democracy is under attack with him, @ProfOsinbajo as Acting President.
