American rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine real name Daniel Hernandez home was attacked on Sunday night in Florida.

According to TMZ, four armed men stormed the property and allegedly held his mother against her will while searching for cash and car keys.

Police said the rapper’s 60-year-old mother was at his residence when the masked men broke in. Officers told reporters the suspects “entered the home with handguns” and forced his mother outside before ransacking the house.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said, “Four armed, masked men entered the home and demanded cash and car keys.” Deputies added that she was physically restrained outdoors while the others searched the property.

A K-9 search was carried out, but the suspects were gone before officers arrived. Investigators believe the men escaped in a waiting vehicle.

The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was not at home during the attack. He was on a livestream with YouTuber Jack Doherty when he received news of the break-in.

In a clip circulating online, Doherty told viewers, “We were livestreaming with Hernandez and in the middle of it, apparently he got robbed, so now there’s like a bunch of cops at his house.”

Doherty, 22, had just returned home after being arrested the previous day on drug charges in Miami Beach. During the livestream, Hernandez was seen congratulating him on his release.

Hernandez has not yet issued a public statement on the home invasion.

The break-in comes months after the rapper pleaded guilty to drug possession in July. He had admitted in court that his Miami home was raided on March 12, where police found cocaine and ecstasy in a bedroom cabinet. Prosecutors later dropped two charges after his plea deal.
